Description
This workshop will introduce students to two broad forms of computational data analysis: machine learning and social network analysis. Along the way, we’ll focus on giving students a basic exposure to computational programming environments, the choices and assumptions behind various computational techniques and the ways data analysis can fit into the larger research process.
